Limits

What each plan includes, what happens at the edge of a limit, and the rules that keep a shared platform safe for everyone on it.

Overage rates

Pro and Team keep running past their included amounts and bill the difference, up to your spend cap. Free and Hobby stop instead and offer an upgrade; nothing running is deleted.

Sleep and wake

  • On Free, container apps sleep after 60 minutes without a request and wake on the next one in under 3 seconds. The first request waits while the app starts; nothing is lost.
  • Static sites never sleep. Databases never sleep.
  • Paid plans are always on.

Builds

  • Each build has 15 minutes and 4 GB of memory.
  • Builds run on dedicated machines, separate from running apps, with a queue per user so one account cannot block the others. Pro and Team builds go first.

Inactive projects

Nothing expires quietly. A project unused for 90 days gets two warning emails before it is archived, and an archived project can be restored.

Abuse rules

Rivtor runs code from strangers on shared machines, so a few rules are enforced for everyone. The full text is the Acceptable use policy.

  • No phishing, brand impersonation, malware, crypto mining or spam. Platform and brand-like names are reserved.
  • Outbound SMTP on port 25 is blocked, and outbound connections are rate-limited.
  • Every deploy is scanned for phishing kits and impersonation, new URLs are checked against Google Safe Browsing, and CPU is watched for mining patterns.
  • Apps that match are suspended automatically, then reviewed by a person.
  • Free is for personal and non-commercial projects. Phone or card verification is required before an app can stay always on or use a custom domain.
